Our History
In 2006, Ora Merin & Eyal Peled founded a new content-driven tourism company and named it Giant Leaps Content Activities (GLCA). Merin and Peled – both highly respected veterans in the national and international travel arena – presented a new approach to high-level tourism in Israel, an approach that is powered by out-of-the box thinking and unmatched professionalism. GLCA perfectly combines critical knowledge of the land and people of Israel, extraordinary personal connections and an impeccable logistical talent.
Today, GLCA is a leading Israeli tour operator in the field of creating and carrying out meaningful tours of Israel for high-level missions as well as individuals. The success of our top quality, affordable and unique missions lays in the great talent and creativity of our team. It is our team’s strong sense of devotion and professionalism that allows us to provide each client with an itinerary that fulfills a mission’s specific goals. Always raising our standards, we promise our clientele an exciting and unforgettable journey of Israel, with a truly immersive and engaging experience.
The GLCA personal touch is well present among our mission organisational staff. All missions are assigned a personal Mission Director, who devotedly oversees all logistics and content. The Mission Director is available on a daily basis and is easily reachable to answer all inquiries – of either your professional team or mission lay-leaders. As preparations for the mission progress, the rest of the GLCA team will become greatly involved in direct communication, as each of its members will work jointly and closely with an assigned member of your mission staff team. To put it simply, “We go the distance for you”. Furthermore, the GLCA Managing Director and/or the Mission Director will travel to meet your staff and lay-leaders in Israel as well as abroad.
